Psychotica was founded in 1994 by singer Pat Briggs (an alumnus of the glam rock outfit R.U.Ready and co-founder of the now infamous "Squeezebox"), former White Zombie quitarist Paul ENA Kostabi and Nine Ways to Sunday cellist Enrique Tiru Velez. After quickly becoming a staple on the NY music scene the band released it's debut self titled album (American Records) and hit the road with a spot on the main stage of Lallapalooza '96. This was fallowed by two years of constant touring supporting bands such as Tool, Soundgarden, The Genitorturers, and The Impotant Sea Snakes.
In 1998 they released the album Espina and added guitarist Clint Walsh (Tweaker) and toured with Jack Off Jill and Switchblade Symphony. After a break from the road the band set up a studio in an English castle along with producer Jon Fryer and recorded their third album Pandemic. Unfortunatlly before the album could be released the label filed for bankruptcy and the album was shelved. With the future of the band and the album up in the air , Briggs and Kostabi decided to take a break and went their seperate ways in late 1999.
After almost a decade apart , the core members of Psychotica reuinited. Partnered with Christian Menses and his label Toxic Shock Records the band finally was able to release Pandemic in 2008. This release was fallowed by the I Will Survive single in 2009 along with the first live performances in 10 years. The Black Dahlia E.P was released in 2009 which was supported by a tour with My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult.
Psychotica are currently recording their 4th album and preparing for a US tour in May.

Dee Madden (Penaly Colony , ExVoto) is currently recording as a solo artist with the Mimeograph series. In this series all tracks have been constrained to the same instrumentation: the Scotty Moore goldtop hollow body electric guitar, upright bass, and snare with brushes.

A companion chapbook is also available which will serve as the liner notes and provide some of Dees meanderings about the songs he chose, why he chose them, and anecdotes about them. Casey Niccoli, of Janes Addiction fame, the director of all of Janes early music videos and the infamous Janes film Gift, lent her talents to the chapbooks artwork and packaging.

Balloons is a Philadelphia, PA-based dance music quartet with dark, provocative subject matter and a sound that blends electronic with pop and goth undertones. They use a mix of electronic beats and keyboards with acoustic and electric guitars and thick, moody vocal harmonies to convey a message that is both tough and tender.
The Bands debut cd "Definition of Forever" was released on April 15th 2009, written by Martin Royle (Washington Social Club) and Christian Menses (Psychotica), the E.P. also features contributions by Angel Bartolatta (Dope / Team Cybergeist).
